PRESS: Svyaznoy starts parallel imports of Samsung devices, iPhones

MOSCOW, Jun 23 (PRIME) -- Russian electronics retailer Svyaznoy has started bringing Samsung and iPhone smartphones into the country via parallel imports channels, business daily Kommersant reported on Thursday.

Svyaznoy has become the first large retailer to confirm the start of supplies of electronics via parallel imports, mainly Samsung’s smartphones and watches, the latest models of the iPhone, and game consoles PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo, the daily said.

The devices will cost by 10–20% more than those imported before the special operation in Ukraine.

Svyaznoy said it expanded its assortment by more than 100 items, including laptops, smartphones, and smartwatches. The seller gives an official guarantee for the devices supplied under parallel imports.
